Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fully Remote - Based in Texas
Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Grade Levels: 1st and 2nd grade

Introduction:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our young learners. This is a fully remote position being conducted via a teletherapy platform. Please see further details and how to apply below:

Position Overview:
In this role, you will work primarily with 1st and 2nd-grade students to assess and address their speech and language needs. This full-time position involves conducting evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and supervising a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in 1st and 2nd grades.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Participate actively in ARD meetings to discuss student progress and goals.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress.
  • Supervise and mentor the SLPA, ensuring effective delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • 2 years of experience working within a school district.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
