Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire a Sign Language Interpreter for the 2024-2025 School Year at a school district in the Millville, CA  area. This position will include full benefits as well as guaranteed hours weekly. 

Job Details: 

  • Start Date/End Date:    ASAP - June 5, 2025
  • Hours per week:    30 Hours (M-F : 8:30am - 3:00pm) 


Caseload Details: 

  • 1 Student / 1 School
  • Provide in-person instructional assistance and interpretation for a deaf student at Junction Elementary School.

Requirements: 

  •  Passing score on Instructional Aide Proficiency Exam, 2 years college (48 units), or AA degree or higher.
                                                                        OR
  • Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or have a score of 4.0+ EIPA or ESSE

Interview: 

  • Zoom or Teams Interview (Online)
  • Offer within 24-48 Hours of Interview
