Location: Machias, WA

Position Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Machias, WA. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support the behavioral needs of students in a collaborative and nurturing school environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify students' needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
Create and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
Provide direct support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of behavioral strategies.
Deliver training and support to staff on best practices in behavior intervention.
Participate in crisis intervention and provide support during critical incidents.
Stay current on research and best practices in applied behavior analysis and school-based interventions.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Current BCBA certification.
Experience working in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, families, and staff.
Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to promoting student success and well-being.
