Job Description

Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (13-Week Contract)
Location: Binghamton, New York
Shift: All shifts are available

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position in Binghamton, New York. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will provide specialized care to patients in our telemetry unit, monitoring and interpreting their cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement appropriate interventions based on patient needs and telemetry findings.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, ensuring accurate monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and changes in telemetry readings.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of related experience in a telemetry unit.
Proficient knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
