Job Description

Remote Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Nevada

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Remote Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to join our team and work for a school district in Nevada. Interviews are currently underway, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to be considered. You do not need to live in Nevada to apply, you need a license in your state of current residence and your state of employment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Teaching for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or a related field
  • Nevada Department of Education Educators Credential
  • At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in remote settings
  • Candidate must hold Professional Liability insurance before the start date
  • Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor
  • Successfully passed basic technical screening with our IT department (more information following application)

Responsibilities

  • Location: fully remote - for a school district in Nevada
  • When: remainder of the 2024-2025 school year
  • Hours: part-time schedule 
  • Offer both direct and indirect services (compensated for both!)
  • Involves progress monitoring and providing input in IEP meetings
