Special Education Teacher - K-12 (New Hampshire)

Job Details:

Position: Digital Special Education Teacher
Location: Remote (New Hampshire)
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Duration: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual instruction to K-12 students with mild to moderate special education needs.
Collaborate with students, parents, and educational teams to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' unique learning needs and track their progress.
Adapt and create educational materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Foster an inclusive and supportive online learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Document and analyze students' academic performance and behavior, adjusting strategies as required.
Work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff to deliver a holistic online learning experience.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest online special education best practices.

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
Hold a valid New Hampshire teaching certification in Special Education.
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally within the K-12 setting.
Proficiency in creating and implementing effective IEPs.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to address diverse learning needs and styles.
Passion for facilitating the growth and development of students with special needs.
Display dedication, organization, and self-motivation in your work approach.
