Position Overview

We are seeking a Remote School Psychologist to join our educational support team in Connecticut. This role is designed for a dynamic mental health professional skilled in delivering psychological services remotely, aiming to enhance the educational experiences and outcomes of students across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Psychological Evaluations: Conduct thorough virtual assessments to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
  • Intervention Planning: Develop and implement effective interventions that are tailored to the individual needs of students, promoting their mental health and academic success.
  • Counseling Services: Provide direct counseling and therapeutic support to students through teletherapy platforms, addressing various mental health issues.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work in close collaboration with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to integrate psychological services within the school environment.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to student crises with appropriate and effective psychological support, ensuring student safety and well-being.
  • Program Development and Evaluation: Assist in the development and evaluation of school mental health programs, using evidence-based approaches to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, specializing in school psychology.
  • Certification: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in school psychology, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in remote or telehealth delivery.
  • Skills: Proficient in digital assessment tools and teletherapy platforms, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment
