Job Title: School Nurse (RN) - 1:1 Support (Mondays Only)
Location: Homewood, IL
Caseload: School Setting (Riding the Bus Required)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a difference in the life of a medically fragile student? We have a unique opportunity for you to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a student in a school setting. This position is part-time, with work required on Mondays, and you'll be responsible for ensuring the well-being and medical care of the student.

Job Description:

As a School Nurse (RN) in this role, you will work on Mondays to provide essential medical support to a medically fragile student. Your responsibilities will include:

Riding the bus with the student to and from school.
Monitoring the student's health and administering necessary medical treatments.
Communicating with the student's family, school staff, and healthcare professionals.
Assisting with any medical emergencies or health-related concerns.
Ensuring the safety and comfort of the student throughout the school day.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
Experience in pediatric nursing is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion and patience when working with medically fragile individuals.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position, with work required on Mondays only. You will need to ride the bus with the student to and from school and provide support during the school day.
