Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer ionizing irradiation to patients as directed by physician instructions and treatment plans
  • Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
  • Explain treatment procedures to patients, addressing questions and ensuring comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and document treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Follow established safety protocols for both patients and staff

Desired Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or eligible
  • Prior experience as a radiation therapist, with strong knowledge of current technologies and safety regulations
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and clinical team members
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality
