Job Description

Position: Travel Psych Nurse
Location: Batavia, NY
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day and mid shifts available

Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Psych Nurse for a travel assignment in Batavia, NY. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day and mid shifts, providing flexibility and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a psychiatric care setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health conditions.
Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all facility policies.

Requirements:

Active RN license (NY state or compact).
Minimum of 1-2 years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
