Job Title: Project Manager - Personnel Planning (Temporary)

Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Remote Work: Possible, based on business needs; 2-4 days per week in office.

About Us: We're seeking a Project Manager for a temporary position. Our organization focuses on efficiently managing personnel resources for various projects, and we need your expertise to ensure smooth onboarding, transitions, and offboarding for our grant-funded initiatives.

Why Temporary Services Are Necessary: Our projects rely on grant funding to achieve their objectives. As a Project Manager in Personnel Planning, you will help us accurately forecast and manage personnel-related expenses throughout the grant period. This temporary role is essential for our project success.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with team members to oversee personnel onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Maintain a systematic record-keeping system to track personnel movements, forms, and correspondence for accurate billing.
  • Assist in planning personnel transitions between grant-funded projects.
  • Analyze financial aspects related to personnel, such as cost adjustments and funding extensions.
  • Support the development of an implementation plan to scale down personnel as project funding decreases.
  • Contribute to succession planning for team tasks.

Additional Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong project management skills, with a preference for candidates with PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, or similar training.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of work for senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables.
  • Basic personnel budget forecasting abilities.
  • The ability to work independently, creatively problem-solve, and resolve process bottlenecks.
  • Leadership and team management skills to assign work and monitor project completion.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 5 years of project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
