Job Description

Sunbelt is looking for a compassionate Travel Pediatric Vascular/Echo Tech to join our team in the dynamic city of Houston, Texas for a rewarding 13-week assignment.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with pediatricians and cardiologists to ensure optimal patient care for young patients.
  • Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients, using specialized equipment.
  • Conduct echocardiograms (echos) to assess heart function and diagnose potential abnormalities in children.
  • Maintain a calm and reassuring presence for young patients throughout procedures.
  • Document patient data meticulously and ensure clear communication with healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Vascular/Echo Tech.
  • ARDMS or CCI credential in Vascular Technology and Echocardiography (required).
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) preferred.
  • Valid BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
  • A compassionate and patient-centered approach to pediatric care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
