Job Title: 1:1 Nurse - Seizure Management
Location: Gig Harbor, WA
Employment Type: Full-time - 32.5 hours

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Nurse to provide specialized care for a high school student with seizure management needs in Gig Harbor, WA. This position is ideal for a nursing professional who is passionate about working in an educational setting and committed to ensuring the health and safety of students with medical challenges.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care to a high school student, focusing on seizure management and overall health support.
Monitor the student’s health status, documenting any seizure activity and other relevant medical information.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following the student’s individualized healthcare plan.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the student’s family to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Educate school personnel on the student’s medical needs and emergency procedures related to seizures.
Respond promptly and appropriately to any medical emergencies, providing first aid and necessary interventions.

Qualifications:

Current RN or LPN license in the state of Washington.
Experience in seizure management or a related field is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Ability to work independently and manage the healthcare needs of the student.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, during school hours.
