Part-time Paraprofessional Job near Langdon, PA

We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Paraprofessional job opening with a well-respected school district near Langdon, PA.The ideal candidate will be working part-time with an elementary school caseload on the school’s campus for the summer and upcoming school year. 

Job Description:

• Assist teacher(s) to reinforce learning concepts presented through lesson plans, individually and in small groups

• Working with students with ASD

•  Helping with diaper changes when needed

•  Supporting students with learning and focus

• Understand, address, and be sensitive to the presented special needs of each student, recognizing differences in their abilities and cognitive levels
• Other daily Paraprofessional duties

Job Requirements:

• Need a 2 year degree (associates) and previous experience working with children;

  OR if you do not have an associates degree, must have a Pennsylvania Special Education Paraeducator Credential of Competency offered through the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN)

• Reliable transportation
