Job Description

Sunbelt is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a part-time basis near Palmetto Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will work with children of all ages who have various developmental and physical disabilities. This is a contract for one full year.

Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for children with a wide range of conditions and disorders
Provide individualized therapy sessions to children and their families in both clinical and community settings
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as speech therapists, physical therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for the children
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports
Educate parents and caregivers on appropriate strategies to support the child's progress

Requirements:

A current Florida state Occupational Therapy (OT) license
Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
