Job Title: Part-Time School Nurse (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Location: Peachtree City, GA
Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking for a part-time opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Our Peachtree City-based school is seeking a Part-Time School Nurse to join our team. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services, promoting wellness, and ensuring the well-being of our students during school hours.
Responsibilities:

Provide basic medical care and first aid to students and staff members as needed.
Assess and address the health needs of students, including administering medication, managing chronic conditions, and monitoring any health concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunization records, medical history, and individual health plans.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement health plans for students with specific medical needs.
Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including preventive measures, healthy lifestyle choices, and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and specialists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive healthcare for students.
Stay informed about current healthcare practices, policies, and regulations relevant to school nursing.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
Knowledge of child and adolescent development, common health issues in school settings, and appropriate nursing interventions.
Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies promptly and calmly.
CPR and first aid certification.
