Paraprofessional Summertime School Opportunity – Westport, CT
Sunbelt is seeking a Paraprofessional to fulfill an open summertime caseload within a Westport, CT area school district! This Position would start early July and go until early August with an option to renew for the 23-24 full school year. This supportive district is looking for someone to jump right in and hit the ground running.

Job Description:

  • Full-Time, Onsite
  • Monday – Friday, start early July and end early August with an option to renew for the full 23-24 school year.
  • 1:1 caseload; providing academic, behavior and language support in substantially separate classroom. Elementary, K-5
  • Caseload details will be further discussed based on experience within the interview.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior School Experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have experience working with autism and ABA therapy programs.
  • Must be familiar with Crisis prevention Intervention (CPI).
  • Must be comfortable working with special education population.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
