Job Description

We are hiring a paraprofessional to work in a classroom setting with students with autism and special needs and provide emotional and educational support at a school district in Daly City, California.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA Degree
  • Paraprofessional and/or behavior experience required
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Fingerprints, Drug screen, Background check

Job Duties:

  • Provide support at one school site

  • Collect student data as directed by Behavior Supervisor or SPED teacher

  • Maintain calmness, flexibility and professional attitude with students, supervisors,  and colleagues.

  • Excellent attendance and reliability is vital.

  • Assist specialists as directed for school readiness, and preacademics, facilitating social interactions during recess and group activities.
