Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and motivated Paraprofessional to join our team near Glen Ellyn, Illinois. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
Help students with assignments, projects, and homework.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to address students' individual needs.
Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education or related field is a plus.
Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students' academic and social development.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students.
Must pass background checks and meet all state and local requirements for employment in an educational setting.
