Job Description

Position: Certified Surgical Tech

Unit: Operating Room

Location: Houston, TX

There is a Level I Trauma facility in Houston, Texas actively interviewing for an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST). This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Travelers must have a minimum of two recent years of experience on the unit. Please call or text Cody at 813-219-1087 for further information.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Degree from a Surgical Technology program preferred but not required
BLS
NBSTSA

Required for Interview:

Clinical References
2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

Set up and break down Sterile Field
Perform an accurate instrument count
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon
Communicate needs with O.R team
