Position: School Paraprofessional
Location: Belmont, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Start Date: 2024/2025 School Year
- Assist certified teachers in the implementation of educational plans and activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce learning concepts.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement.
- Support students with special needs in various academic and social settings.
- Foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere for students to thrive.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher is a plus.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Compliance with all state and district requirements.
