Position: OR RN
Location: Montgomery, AL
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Days or Nights (Variable Shifts Available)

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) RN for a 13-week contract position in Montgomery, AL. This role involves providing perioperative care, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care to patients.
Assist the surgical team by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any complications during surgery.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal care.

Requirements:

Active RN license.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Strong understanding of surgical techniques and sterile field management.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts as needed.
