Requirements (Please read)

    • Master’s degree in School Psychology
    • Hold an active Alabama license or certification as a School Psychologist.
    • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
    • Experience with virtual service delivery platforms and telepractice technologies.
    • Must be okay with a 1099 contract position and providing your own liability insurance


    • Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement levels, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral issues.
    • Interpreting assessment results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas needing intervention or support.
    • Developing and implementing interventions and strategies to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
    • Consulting with educators and parents on behavioral management strategies, learning difficulties, and mental health concerns.
    • Advocating for students' educational and psychological needs within the school system.
    • Providing education to school staff, parents, and the community regarding child development, mental health, and effective learning strategies.
    • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions.
