Job Description

Sunbelt is seeking to fill a School Social Worker for a school-based position in a local district in the Lakeside, MI area. This position is Full-time for the 22-23 school year.

The School Social Worker will be working with a caseload of K-12, majority being elementary, and will be providing services that may include:

Mainly preventative interventions to support children’s social emotional needs.
General & Special Education
Required to provide social work counseling services and complete all components of evaluations for students needing IEPs

Day to Day:

Full-Time
Mild-severe caseload
ASAP- End of School Year

Requirements:

Master’s in social work from an accredited college
MI PEL Cert
SSW Licensure
School-based experience is preferred but not required
