As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students, collaborating with educators, and promoting a positive school environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to parents, teachers, and the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team
Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Provide counseling services to students individually or in small groups
Offer consultation to parents, teachers, and staff on student-related issues
Participate in special education meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
Stay current with best practices in school psychology and contribute to the overall improvement of the school community

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
Valid New Hampshire state credential as a School Psychologist
Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services to students
Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and support staff
