Occupational Therapist (OT) Pediatric Role in Oak Park, IL Area (Full Benefits)
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions designed to improve daily living and occupational skills.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques to enhance functionality and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in the field through ongoing professional education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with a variety of patient populations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.
