Job Description

Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry, delivering coordinated and high-quality care for assigned patients in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols. This contract role involves supervising nursing staff across various levels, ensuring effective teamwork and communication to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to manage nursing activities, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain a safe and supportive care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered telemetry nursing care following the nursing process and established care standards
Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff to ensure quality and consistency in care delivery
Coordinate with healthcare disciplines to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical decision-making and staff management
Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and document care activities accurately

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with telemetry nursing experience
Strong supervisory and leadership abilities in a clinical setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to apply critical thinking and professional discretion in nursing practice
Prior experience in acute care or telemetry units preferred
