A registered nurse with expertise in telemetry and acute medical-surgical care is needed for a night shift role on a 37-bed Med/Tele Complex Care unit. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within a renowned hospital environment located in Rochester, NY, providing high-quality patient care while supporting a dynamic healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM / 7 AM to 7 PM (day/night rotation)
- Flexible options: 36 to 48 hours per week
- Weekend commitment: 1 weekend shift weekly or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least 1 holiday shift per contract
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NIH and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent acute medical-surgical/telemetry experience (2 years preferred)
- For candidates trained outside the U.S., 2 years of U.S. work experience is required
- Flexibility to float between units and willingness to assume charge nurse responsibilities (training provided)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients within a Med/Tele complex care setting
- Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate documentation
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Adapt to facility scheduling needs and possible block booking requests
- Support unit operations as charge nurse when assigned
