A Registered Nurse with Med/Surg telemetry experience is needed for a contract assignment in Milwaukee, WI. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level IV Trauma Center with advanced technology and a supportive care team. Candidates should be prepared for night shifts with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience required
- BLS and NIHSS certifications mandatory; ACLS preferred
- Comfortable caring for diverse Med/Surg patient types including trachs, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and management of IV infusions such as Lasix, insulin, and heparin gtts
- Proficient with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care on the telemetry unit, managing up to 6 patients per shift depending on staffing
- Collaborate with CNA/Tech, HUC, Rapid Response Team, phlebotomy services, charge nurse, and telemetry techs
- Monitor central telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
- Float to other Med/Surg units as needed under supervision
- Maintain professional appearance adhering to dress code (solid color scrubs, no logos)
Schedule:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation every other weekend
- Holiday rotation every other major holiday
- Orientation: 1 shift
Additional Details:

- Contract length negotiable with possibility for extensions including up to 7 days of return to office coverage
