A registered nurse with acute med-surg and telemetry expertise is needed for a 13-week contract in Fairport, NY. This role offers the opportunity to support patient care on a specialized 37-bed Med/Tele Complex Care unit during night shifts and day/night rotations, working flexible 36 to 48 hours per week with weekend and holiday commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor telemetry.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation.
• Float to other units as needed and assume charge nurse responsibilities when requested.
• Maintain flexibility to align with facility scheduling needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year recent acute med-surg and telemetry nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• For non-U.S. candidates: at least 2 years of U.S. nursing experience.
• NIH AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability and willingness to work night shifts with weekend and holiday coverage.
• Strong adaptability to float and take charge as required.
