A registered nurse with acute med-surg and telemetry expertise is sought for a contract role in Fairport, NY. The position involves care for patients in a 37-bed med/tele complex care unit. This role requires flexibility, with night shifts on a 12-hour rotation between 7 PM to 7 AM and 7 AM to 7 PM. Nurses will work 36 to 48 hours weekly, including one weekend shift per week or two every other weekend, and at least one holiday during the 13-week contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in an acute med-surg/telemetry unit
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system
• Exhibit flexibility by floating to other units as needed
• Perform charge nurse duties when required, with training available
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• NIH and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum one year recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry nursing
• For non-U.S. candidates, two years of U.S. work experience is required
• Preferred: two years recent acute med-surg/tele experience
• Ability to work night shifts and varied schedules, including holidays and weekends
• Willingness to float and accept charge nurse responsibilities
