This role is ideal for registered nurses seeking to make a difference through their expertise in cardiac telemetry on a 13-week contract. With a collaborative, fast-paced team, youll deliver exceptional care and ensure optimal outcomes for a diverse patient population.
Schedule & Hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week, preference to be indicated upon application
- Every other weekend as required by the facility
- Orientation will be held during day shifts; full availability required for orientation week
Key Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or eligibility for Missouri licensure
- Minimum 1 year recent inpatient cardiac telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Proficient in reading telemetry, caring for CHF, chest pain, renal, and hemodialysis patients
- Experience with Amiodarone and Cardizem drips, central lines (HD caths, Ports, PICCs)
- Compassion, strong teamwork, and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation, dopamine and other drips, chest tubes, CIWA protocol
- Adaptability to float to units of similar or lower acuity

- Perform comprehensive assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize care and patient comfort
- Safeguard patient rights and maintain confidentiality
- Function within Missouris Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
- Maintain a professional demeanor aligned with service standards and mission values
