Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Telemetry to make a significant impact as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary patient care team. Schedule/Hours:

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia
  • Previous experience in Telemetry nursing preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice as per the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
  • Commitment to upholding ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to function in a team-based environment and support shared governance principles
  • Evidence of continuing education and willingness to embrace evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to telemetry patients, utilizing the latest clinical standards and research
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement individualized care plans
  • Advocate for patient needs while supporting hospital policies, service excellence goals, and ethical guidelines
  • Monitor, record, and interpret data from cardiac monitors and communicate changes to physicians
  • Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives as guided by nurse leadership
  • Provide patient and family education to foster understanding and involvement in care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
