This contract role is well-suited for nurses with acute care experience who are adaptable and ready to contribute their expertise to where it is needed mostwhether on PCU, Med-Surg, or telemetry units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in Stepdown, PCU, Med-Surg, or telemetry units.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments consistent with acute care protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Float within the assigned facility or to nearby sites (within 40 miles) as needed, remaining within your nursing specialty.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Stepdown, Med-Surg, or PCU experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in PCU, Med-Surg, telemetry, or acute care environments.
  • Ability to work EOW (every other week) and EOH (every other holiday).
  • Flexibility to float within skill set and to nearby locations as required.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
