Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit, closely monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the organization's electronic medical records system.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure and credentials recognized in the state of Georgia.
• Experience working in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to manage complex patient conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in multidisciplinary settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
