Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year stepdown or progressive care experience, preferably in cardiac or thoracic surgery
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to cardiac and thoracic stepdown patients
- Monitor telemetry, manage complex interventions, and respond to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on surgical recovery and discharge planning
