Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Previous nursing experience in a Stepdown or progressive care environment required
• BLS and ACLS certification (additional certifications may be required)
• Proficiency in assessing and monitoring patients transitioning from critical to stable conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient and family care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Stepdown patients, following evidence-based best practices
• Monitor signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions, intervening as necessary and escalating to higher levels of care when indicated
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, medications, and ongoing care
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
• Support a safe and healing environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
