An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in stepdown care to provide dedicated support in patient care. This 13-week contract role requires a professional who can deliver high-quality nursing services during the night shift.
Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients in a stepdown unit setting. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.
Location: This position is based in Anchorage, AK, a vibrant city known for its stunning natural beauty, outdoor recreational activities, and a close-knit community feel. Anchorage offers access to mountain trails, wildlife viewing, and the unique culture of Alaska, making it an engaging place to live and work.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license in hand at the time of application
- Experience in stepdown or progressive care units
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
