A rewarding nursing opportunity is available for a skilled RN with experience in rehabilitation and long-term care nursing. This contract role is based in Concord, NH, providing dedicated inpatient rehab services in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Manage patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications, monitor IV therapies, and operate specialized equipment such as mechanical lifts and infusion pumps
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic medical records
- Uphold a compassionate and flexible approach to patient care while working within a 6:1 patient-to-staff ratio
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Current RN licensure with verified experience in rehab and medical-surgical nursing
- Proven skills in IV therapy; candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Preferred experience in wound care, stroke, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work every other weekend and on-call as needed
- Excellent communication skills and a kind, thorough nursing approach
Additional Information
- Unit consists of 19 beds with a day shift team typically including charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and sitters
- Use of mechanical lift equipment, Baxter and Kangaroo pumps as part of daily care
- Dress code requires plain-colored scrubs
