Job Description

A healthcare facility in Concord, NH is seeking two Registered Nurses to fill the role of Resource Nurse, also known as Off-Shift House Nurse Supervisor. This contracted position offers an opportunity to utilize your nursing expertise in a leadership capacity during overnight hours on a stable schedule.

Schedule:

  • 10:45 pm to 7:15 am
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
  • Every other weekend: Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nursing units during shift, serving as a resource to nursing staff to ensure a safe and therapeutic care environment
  • Act as a clinical role model, promoting safe and compassionate nursing care
  • Identify and report clinical and administrative concerns to Executive Nursing Leadership or the Executive on Call
  • Initiate emergency preparedness and continuity of operations plans as needed
  • Monitor hospital policy adherence and staff compliance with nursing standards
  • Manage staffing and demonstrate positive leadership throughout the hospital during your shift

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid RN license with experience in Psychiatric, Med-Surg, Long Term Care, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), or Specialty nursing preferred
  • Previous experience as a resource nurse, charge nurse, or similar leadership role highly valued
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Contract Details:
