Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (RN-PICU) to provide critical care to young patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role demands clinical excellence, compassionate patient and family-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to families regarding patient care and treatment
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations
  • Respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations related to pediatric critical care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in Pediatric Intensive Care nursing
  • Strong knowledge of critical care practices, ventilator management, and pediatric pharmacology
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical environments and prioritize patient needs
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
