In this travel RN assignment, youll provide care in a 28-bed progressive cardiac unit, catering to a diverse patient population that includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow cases. The role offers a patient ratio of 1:4-5, ensuring you can deliver attentive, meaningful care while strengthening your skills alongside dedicated healthcare professionals. Each day, youll witness a spectrum of patient conditions and collaborate closely with experts, deepening your clinical expertise and adapting to new leadership styles and treatment protocolsperfect for nurses eager to grow and diversify their resume.

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year recent PACU experience required
- Experience with medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke patients highly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Manage post-anesthesia care and high-acuity patients in a progressive cardiac setting
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond swiftly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge care
