Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
- Weekend and holiday availability/on-call required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license required
- CPR certification
- Proven experience with wound care and foley catheter placement
- Proficient in HCHB/Point Care systems, IV infusion, PICC/midline management
- Valid drivers license (mileage reimbursed for patient-to-patient travel)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to supervise care plans and mentor staff
- Experience with medication management and policy compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals with diverse health needs
- Work closely with health professionals to plan and deliver services addressing each patients needs
- Coordinate communication and actions among disciplines to support health and safety
- Oversee medication administration, monitoring, storage, and documentation per established guidelines
- Provide thorough and timely patient status updates and reports to physicians
- Complete and maintain all required nursing documentation and notes
- Supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses as needed and ensure staff are trained appropriately
- Arrange and follow up on all health-related appointments, promoting effective care
- Organize employee and annual recertification training for health and safety
