Take the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse providing comprehensive in-home and community-based care. This contract role offers weekdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities for maximum flexibility. You will cover Passaic County, primarily in Clifton and Passaic, ensuring quality care and support while enjoying mileage reimbursement for travel between patient visits.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8am5pm
- Weekend/holiday availability and on-call rotation as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Valid CPR certification
- Previous experience managing wound care, foley catheter care, and IV infusions
- Familiarity with HCHB/Point Care systems for documentation
- Proficiency with PICC/midline management
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for travel
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated excellence in all benchmark clinical competencies
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Deliver nursing support for individuals with a range of healthcare needsacute, chronic, or preventative
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate health and safety services
- Manage medication administration, monitoring, and documentation according to regulatory and policy standards
- Communicate significant changes to physicians and ensure timely follow-up on care recommendations
- Supervise LPN/VN staff and provide direction on care delivery
- Organize and track health appointments and related follow-ups
- Maintain all required nursing documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Deliver training for new and existing staff on health and safety procedures
