Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic medical environment. This position focuses on circulator duties within the operating room, supporting surgical teams by ensuring patient safety and efficient procedural flow.

Location: Whites City, NM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform circulator nursing duties during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and care quality
  • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams across multiple specialties including general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, podiatry, plastics, endocrine, and trauma surgery
  • Manage adult and pediatric patients throughout the perioperative process
  • Adhere to established protocols for infection control, surgical counts, and documentation
  • Respond promptly during on-call periods to support emergent surgical needs

Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
  • Proven experience in multi-specialty surgical environments, including adult and pediatric cases
  • Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including one weekday and rotating weekends
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

  • Days, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (5x8 hour shifts)
  • On-call: Weekdays 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; weekend rotation includes 24-hour shifts
