Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Ability to perform as Scrub Technician when needed
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to meeting established Standards of Nursing Practice

Schedule:

• Contract position

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Operating Room setting
• Circulate and/or scrub in surgical cases, providing direct and indirect patient care
• Coordinate and delegate patient care tasks among healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and responses in a timely manner
• Support a safe, sterile, and positive environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and fellow nurses to promote optimal surgical outcomes
• Participate in maintaining supplies and readiness of the OR area
• Uphold patient confidentiality and advocate for patient safety at all times
• Contribute to a cooperative and respectful workplace
