Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care within a 13-week contract in Port Orford, OR. This role demands a versatile nurse skilled in various surgical specialties, ready to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic, on-call environment. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of experience in general surgery, gynecology, and several subspecialties, enhancing patient outcomes through expert nursing support.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current OR RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications up to date
  • Proven experience in endoscopy, orthopedics (podiatry), eye surgeries, and urology
  • Familiarity with general surgery, gynecological procedures, pain injections, and cataract surgeries
  • Ability to function in all perioperative phases: PreOp, OR, and PACU
  • Flexible to participate in a variable on-call rotation; no cesarean section duties
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions processed via facility forms
