Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision
  • Adept in following established protocols, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate care across multiple disciplines
  • Comfortable working in environments that require the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to infection prevention

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and industry best practices
  • Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans with precision and thorough documentation
  • Closely observe and communicate changes in patient conditions, collaborating with the surgical and medical team as needed
  • Carry out and document physician and nursing orders to maintain seamless care continuity
  • Lead coordination among healthcare staff to achieve comprehensive, patient-centered surgical care
  • Assess and facilitate discharge planning in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to optimize recovery
