Deliver specialized nursing care in an operating room setting located in Mendocino, CA, supporting a comprehensive range of intraoperative patient services. This role focuses on providing high-quality surgical support, excluding PACU, anesthesia, pre-op holding, and central sterile functions. The position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to both inpatient and outpatient surgical interventions, ensuring patient safety and care excellence throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients during surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe intraoperative care.
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control standards.
- Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
- Support surgical personnel with equipment and procedural needs.
- Adapt to a department offering combined surgical services if applicable.
