Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in the Operating Room to provide exceptional surgical care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position involves working day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a required call rotation to support the surgical team during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities include circulating during a variety of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, plastics, endocrine, and trauma cases. The role demands proficiency in adult and pediatric patient care, ensuring safety, aseptic techniques, and effective communication with the surgical team.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Demonstrated experience across multiple surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endocrine, and trauma
- Skilled in caring for both adult and pediatric patients
- Ability to respond effectively during call shifts, including weekday evenings and weekend rotations

Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
- Call rotation includes one weekday per week minimum and weekend coverage
- On-call hours: Monday-Friday 3:30 p.m. 7:00 a.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m.
